The darling of the Parent's Television Council is back. Nip/Tuck is back for it's fourth season, and despite the warnings all throughout the show that this is only for mature audiences, the PTC must be gnashing their teeth right about now.

The truth is, last year, I objected to it too. And I hate Nip/Tuck writers for making me agree with the PTC, and I hate Ryan Murphy (the creator and head writer) for leaving the show on autopilot to direct his movie that is getting Oscar buzz, and I hate myself for watching that drivel. The show that likes to bill itself as "deeply superficial" was exactly the opposite. It was "superficially deep." They thought they were making a lot of important points, but there was nothing substantial last year. They even managed to sever one of the plastic surgeon's fingers, which is being treated as if it never happened this season.

Is it just me, or is this show going very slowly? It feels like it's been on forever. Let me explain why I think this is happening, then get on to future predicitions, a look back at the past, and a phone call from Chloe!!

I think this season is taking forever because we all realize that Michael is going to win. I mean, seriously, the guy has never sent anything bad down the runway. And that's not necessarily a compliment, so let me turn it into one. Everything he has sent down the runway has been GORGEOUS!! The coffee filter dress was stunning. The Pam Grier hot pants were so hot that I want a pair, the whole time knowing that seeing myself in a pair of hot pants might be enough to send me to the loony bin. His clothes are hot, and they are innovative. This dude is going to rock the fashion world if he wants to. When you already know who the winner is and you are just waiting around to be proven correct, it feels like it's taking a long time.

Each night more than 50 performers will amaze you with a spectacle that would not be out of placing any where in the world. Calypso offers two shows nightly at 8.15 pm and 9.45 pm but with a dual pricing arrangement of 350 baht for Thais, 1000 baht for foreigners (price includes a drink). My advice is not to buy ticket from the counter, the ticket also available at most of the travel agency in Bangkok, I bought 500 baths in one on it.
