Many of the clients I see have their faces plastered on the computer screen under the Megans' Law protocols. With their face and address is also the descriptor of the crime: Lewd and lascivious behavior with a 14y/o or younger. There are benefits, as well as 'downside', to this form of public exposure.

One fellow I have seen for over a year has proclaimed from the start that he did not do it. He did not use 'authority-based coercion' to have his way with that 13 year old daughter of his neighbor. The system does not believe such proclamations. Nor do I.

I work with a variety of clients, including sex offenders. Recently I have encountered a case where the 13 y/o perpetrator is being considered for returning home to where his 6y/o victim/sister resides.

He was watching porn, got an erection, and decided to experiment by putting said erection in sisters mouth. She allegedly did not resist. She did tell her mother about it later. And the slippery slope worked its' magic.

I have not been on BP that much lately because I started another blogging project and wanted to get it going. Those of you who blog know how long it takes to set up quality content and get reads. The site I created is called The Latest Celebrity Gossip . I wanted to experiment with a new concept and see what happens. Thus far it has been fairly successful. But now I am officially back to BP so you can expect to hear more “Hot Debates� and all about the stupid things that happened to me daily.

I was just told by a friend to check out Meganslaw.com which is a website set up to let you know if there are any registered sex offenders in your area. You input your information and maps, descriptions, etc. pop up telling you where in your immediate area one of these miscreants lives.

Well, sometimes ignorance is bliss.....but I am a curious girl by nature, and I have a son who I know I am overly protective of (and with good reason, now I know) so I punchedin our information and up pops the notice that there are 66 registered sex offenders in my immediate area. 66! This is appaling and very disturbing. My husband and I moved up to Portland, Oregon to give our son a better life and to be able to buy a house, which is pretty much impossible in Los Angeles unless you are a movie star or a dope king pin. Well, wwe got the house, and it's a beautiful one at that......but as for giving our son a better quality of life? When so many predators are in our city? I'm stumped.
