Using things like a hair dryer or a fan can imitate the loud sound of blood flowing through a pregnant woman’s arteries. It is a good idea to keep the baby in movement, such as rocking or riding in a car, that reminds them of the womb. The baby can feel soothed with warm baths and warm wash cloths placed on their stomachs. By the time a baby is 3 or 4months old, colic symptoms usually go away and don’t return.

One of the greatest mild discomforts that millions of people go through unknowingly is static sparks. Today, I saw something that just breaks my heart.

Phillip Knee located in Caldwell County, Kentucky, has been charged with the murder of his girlfriend's 10 month old son.

His initial story to police was that he propped the bottle in the baby's mouth and went outside. When he returned, he found the baby not breathing.

There is a lot of media attention recently regading the 20 month old boy in the U.S. who ate some of the Aqua Dots craft/toy and was apparently made sick by a chemical breaking down into something like GHB, the date rape drug. Yesterday morning, a prison guard was arrested at the Kentucky State Penitentiary. He was seen passing illegal drugs to an inmate. Why on earth would he do that?

Although I have never been in a prison, I have heard the horror stories. There is no way that I would ever be cut out to even be a prison guard. I imagine it's a very, very difficult job. But why would a person that's chosen to work as one do something illegal?

A man in Lincoln County, Tennessee was arrested for sexually abusing nursing home patients. Thad Eatherly faces six counts of rape against a handicapped man and another unknown patient.

Investigators don't know how long supervisors knew about the abuse before it was reported to the proper authorities. Fayetteville Police Detective Joel Massey said an employee alerted authorities about what was happening to patients inside the nursing homes.
