After a reported 20 years of being sober...

Robin Williams has checked himself into rehab.

He is currently seeking treatment for alcoholism.

Mara Buxbaum, spokesperson and publicist for Robin Williams said in a statement, "[Williams] found himself drinking again and has decided to take proactive measures to deal with this for his own well-being and the well-being of his family."

Not much information has been leaked, but the star plans to return to work this fall for his upcoming film, "Man of The Year."
