Who was Confucius? Short summary!

Confucius was a moral and political philosopher in ancient China during the Spring and Autumn Period. He lived from 551-479 BC. It wasn’t until the Warring States period when the Confucian ideas were spread around China. His teachings are preserved in the “Analects” are still widely looked up to, today. Many of his ideas are published in the Classics (ie the Four Books, the Five Classics, Nine Classics and Thirteen Classics).

WARNING: This will disturb you to say the least:

The DA's office does NOT consider rape to be a life-threatening assault. THIS MEANS they will charge anyone who uses lethal force in self-defense against a rapist with SECOND DEGREE MURDER or attempted murder.

Surprisingly, many agree with this! In a poll taken, 49% of people feel that rape is not a crime that one should loose his life over, another 25% feel that rape is awful and the victim should only use violence as a LAST RESOURT, 10% feel that lethal force is needed and the remainder is undecided!
