I saw an episode of Charlie's Angels on a syndicated rerun network the other day that was truly priceless. This episode occurred during the reign of Cheryl Ladd, Jaclyn, Smith, and Kate Jackson, and it took place in Las Vegas. The opening footage with Charlie's Angels theme music was different than usual (Vegas-themed). Best of all, this episode featured a co-starring role from Dean Martin and Dick Sargent (the 2nd Darrin from "Bewitched") and cameo appearances from Vic Morrow and Scatman Crothers.

A parent decided to allow his 13-year old daughter to practice driving in an empty parking lot. I guess she drove good for a while then got really nervous. Accidentally she slammed on the gas and the car when barreling through the cyclone fence, across grass and into a nearby front yard. In that front yard was a young mother and her infant daughter, Tori. The mother saw the out of control car coming and threw Tori to safety. The car ran the mother over, crushing all of her bones and organs. She died moments after impact. When the police questioned the driver she said that she “Didn’t remember the pedals�.

Would School Uniforms Improve Our Schools?

School Uniform Purpose
In cities like Detroit and Jersey City, school uniforms can be useful. They are a great way of controlling gang attire. Many feel that uniforms are also a way of making children obey rules and develop work ethic. When children enter the world of work, the parents said, some will be in jobs that require them to dress in a particular way. Students already subjected to the discipline of wearing uniforms will be in a better position to comply, the parent said. Others feel that having all students dress in the same attire eliminates bullying, theft and other issues. In addition, children no longer have to worry about what to wear.
