The worse effects come from long term and frequent use of using wireless phones. Radiation levels vary by phone and wireless phones are assigned a number called the Specific Absorption Rate (SAR). On Monday, Senator Edward Kennedy had 3 ½ hours of surgery done to cut out as much of his cancerous brain tumor as possible. The surgery was successful and chemotherapy and radiation will be done next to shrink whatever is left of the tumor. In the next days to come, he will most likely be given drugs to prevent brain swelling and seizures. He will also be closely watched for possible bleeding and blood clots.
