preferential rights

I recently discovered how much fun craigslist.com can be, or as people seem to refer to it--CL. There are plenty of fun things to do on the site, ways to kill time.

You can chat for hours on the various discussion boards, you can look for jobs, try to find good deals on sale items, look for a new apartment.

But by far the most entertaining thing you can do on craigslist.com is look at the personal ads. You know the ones I'm talking about because they are the link you go right to first things. And you skip all the ones without pictures right?

The investment highlights a few important points:

1) The continuation of seamless cross-border investments between U.S and India.
2) Growing importance of Ethanol in our energy landscape.
3) Maturing of the Indian market with respect to deal structure for VC investments -- the articles mentions the usage of "preferential shares". I'm not sure if this is the same as "preferred stock" as used in the U.S, but will try and research.
