I just checked mine, and it has changed. They must have updated their PR again.
They are really making a big effort to knock all paid bloggers down to a big, fat 0.
The Importance Of Content In Gaining PR
Submitted by Sire on February 28, 2008 - 5:28pm. content | keyword | PR | SEOThere are many who suggest that a blog's ranking should merely depend on the quality of the blog's content and not on the amount of links to your blog. After all ‘content is king’, and while in the real world this would be true, the problem is that search engine spiders wouldn't know good content if they fell off their web right into it.
How To Generate Traffic - Increase Income - And Build Your List
Submitted by jomark3 on February 11, 2008 - 7:52am. generate income | increase income | increase traffic | Make Money | PR | write articles | writing articlesTo be successful on the Internet, you need to develop a growing stream of traffic, generate income, and build your list. If you can accomplish these three goals, you will be successful online. Writing articles is an excellent way to achieve all three of these goals. That is, if you do it properly. Of course all of your articles should be about engaging subjects and have great titles to attract maximum readers. Assuming that your article satisfies these two objectives, how do you generate traffic, increase income and build your list? You accomplish these things with a great resource box.
The resource box is your compensation for writing the article. This is the section, usually below your article where you post your advertising. Many people tell about how great they are or their accomplishments in the resource box. Unless you are running for public office, this is probably a mistake.
Most article directories allow you to place three links in your resource box. You should take full advantage of this and include the maximum number of links that they allow. After all, this is the only compensation that you will receive for writing the article. You may as well get the most bang for your buck.
If the article directory allows it, use anchor links in the resource box, the search engines favor this type of link. If the directory does allow html, use plain text links using the full web address. Make sure to begin with http.
In each resource box, include a link to your opt in page. This will build the size of your list. And in this business, those with the largest lists have the highest incomes. Always include a link to your opt in page!
In addition, always include 2 additional links. Ideally, these should direct visitors to two of your own products, or a page on your site where you stand to make some money. If you do not have your own product, use affiliate products. Unfortunately, some article directories will not allow links directly to affiliate products. Read the directory’s terms of service to determine if it is allowed.
By including a resource box with the maximum number of links allowed, you can generate traffic, increase income, and build your list.

Making Your Links More Valuable To Search Engines
Submitted by jomark3 on January 29, 2008 - 1:44pm. improve page rank | improve pr | Make Money | make money onlin | page rank | PR | search engines | SEO | seo tacticsIn the world of Search Engine Optimization (SEO) links are valuable. However, some links are less valuable than others. In fact some links are almost worthless from an SEO standpoint.
The specifics on how websites are ranked are closely guarded secrets. If this information were public knowledge, every site would be perfectly optimized and the search engines would be of no value. Although there is no certainty when it comes to search engine preferences, we can make certain assumptions based on history and experience.
The use of anchor text links is thought to carry some weight with the search engines. An anchor text link includes a few descriptive words which, if clicked, will take you a different website or page. The actual website address is hidden within the html code of the website.
But, some links carry more weight than others. The more common descriptive words used with anchor text links is the term “Click Here.” Unless ‘click here’ is one of the keywords listed on your website, it is useless as far as the search engines go. I more valuable text link is “Your Site’s Name” or Your Site Keyword.” This type of link carries much more weight in the eyes of the search engines.
How do I know this? I have two sites that I almost always promote together. They were designed from the same template so neither one has an SEO advantage over the other. For one site I have always used the site name in the anchor text. In the other, I use different names in the anchor text.
The one that I use the site name in the anchor text has a page rank of 3. The other site, which is slightly older, has a page rank of 2. Although the difference is not earth shattering, in the world of SEO, I’ll take every little advantage that I can get. By making small changes like this, you may end up with improved site rankings. And by using a number of these small SEO improvements, you might see significant improvement in your over all site rankings and in your Internet business.

How to Save BloggerParty

Increase Your PR With One Way Links.
Submitted by Sire on July 8, 2006 - 10:52pm. PR | SEO TecniquesWe all know how important linking is in obtaining a good PR, and that one-way links are the best. It is fairly easy obtaining a reciprocal link (where you exchange your link with another site) and a lot harder to achieve a one-way link (where another website links with yours without requiring a reciprocal link). Most SEO experts agree that Google holds one-way links as highly important and will usually give a site with lots of one-way links a higher PR. The reasoning behind this is that if a lot of sites are linking to one particular site then that site must be pretty important and hence warrants a higher PR.
