China looks like becoming the worlds super-power. One of the reasons I think we have little to fear from China, is due to its size.

Sure there are a hell of a lot of them, but 90% of the population have never picked up a telephone. They have one of the largest populations on the Web, but I cannot see them swamping Google and Ebay?

SOUR CREAM POUND CAKE

This pound cake is a bit creamier in texture with a rich flavor that comes from the addition of sour cream.

Serves 16
Prep Time: 20 minutes
Bake Time: 1 to 11/2 hrs.

3 cups flour
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp salt
1 cup butter, softened
2 cups sugar
1 tsp vanilla
1 tsp almond flavoring
6 eggs
1 cup sour cream

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease and flour Bundt pan, tube pan, or two loaf pans.
