I hadn't realised it had been so long since I posted on here. The last few months have been tough but I have been around here and there and trying to get back into the swing. It wasn't till I read some posts on here Spooky on spookyisms and Sassys on blackmail that I realised how much I was missing you guys. So I suppose this post is just to say hello again. Oh and by the way Rob Morrow is not bad I have to say, although a little young for me - still even us old girls can dream.

I am befuddled at what has happened to writingup.com?

I found a site that pays for you to post on their site. It is pretty neat and you can talk about anything that interest you. I have even went as far as talking about my dog. Anyway, you can earn money by doing this and it's fun and informative. Hope you enjoy.

I got a bit grouchy in my last post, but I will say that Blogitive accepted it. So I've got to give kudos to them for meaning it when they say you don't have to write something positive. And the same thing to the sponsor. It's one thing to know you're signing up for something where people can write rotten things about your company. It's another to have them actually written.

And finally, to the people who have a problem with this form of advertising, I would say that this is proof of how it's supposed to work. I try to find something nice about the sponsor, but in some cases, I disagree with them. And yet, I'm still able to put my true feelings. Opponents argue that there is no transparency. But I told you right off the bat that it was sponsored, and then I told you that I didn't like it. I don't know how it gets any more transparent than that.

One of my language sites named JumpG is like an island forlorn that members visited only once in a while. As a senior member and one of those who refused to leave, seeing hope in the future development of the site, I took part in encouraging the members to stay on. Nevertheless, there are times you would also like to leave.

You ask a question and it is answered after two months – if ever. You make a comment and it gets no rejoinder. A German named Ami, in fact, had invited me to his more populated language place, mentioning the grave-like silence of JumpG. Although I had registered with his group, I still remained faithful to JumpG. My friend also stayed on and became my teacher for German – although our teaching-learning was quite slow, if there was something of that to speak of - given our work pressures.
