I should be happy but I am too exhausted. Another day of wearing a headset at work has caused me yet another headache. Anyway, I'm happy because I finanlly found a solution for a problem that has plagued me for as long as I can remember...sweating profusely when I am cold. And I get cold A LOT.
I was supposed to have off tomorrow, but I switched with someone who needed a day off more than I do.

action | babysitting | blog | computer | kareoke | non-stop | pchan | sarah | weekend | work
I am exhausted. Yesterday I worked 8 hours (the usual), then went to kareoke with friends...my throat is raw today from singing Zombie (by the cranberries). I stayed out late, and had to wake up early for work today. I worked all day, and then came home and scarfed my dinner, then I babysat for about 3 hours. Now I am home.
I was going to get a new cell phone, but I'll probably end up getting a computer desk for my room instead. Priorties and what not. I have rearrange it to somehow make everything fit in there, like a puzzle. As it is, my room is crowded with too many pieces of furnitute. I used to have a queen sized bed. Now I have a twin, to make more room.

After work I came home and helped my dad with his homework, lol. Seriously, he had to take a personality profile for his job, and he asked me to go over it with him afterwards (since I have a psych degree). I was flattered that my dad would ask me for help with something. So that took about 3 hours total.
Then I did 2 mountains of laundry...I haven't been home at night lately, so it has been piling up. I really need new clothes. I'm like the female Mr Rogers, I have about 12 versions of the same sweater in different colors. boring. I am going shopping on friday. But Mr rogers is cool. He killed 26 people...in the military.

I just got home from the movies. I've decided that so far the best movie I've seen all year is "V for Vendetta". This movie totally soared above and beyond my high expectations.
Although the movie was long, much longer than my short attention span (oooh what is that sparkley thing over there...), my eyes did not move from the screen AT ALL in 2.5 hours. However, I did avert my gaze briefly during the close-up of someone's rotten teeth.

This week is going to be awesome. I have tomorrow, Thursday, and Friday off from work, woot! At work I've been sneaking in the word "meow" sometimes when I talk to the police, like in the movie Super Troopers. It's really entertaining.
Tonight I'm going to a friend's house to watch Cat's Eye (Steven King movie from the 80's). Tomorrow me and a few friends from work are going to see V for Vendetta.

I've been hearing really good things about the movie "V for Vendetta", so it is on my list of movies to see this week. And I absolutely LOVE Natalie Portman. Some people say I look like her as well. (People also say I look like Gwen Steffani, but I digress...)
Speaking of Natalie, today I am going to Gizmo's house to watch "Closer" (I love that movie too) and "Mad Hot Ballroom", which I haven't seen yet, but know I will love since it is about dance. I practice while blow-drying my hair. Yes, I am a dork.

acne | blog | face | pchan | pchan33 | proactiv | sarah | skincare | zits
My skin was clear for the past few months, until about 3 weeks ago. many things have been wreaking havoc on my face lately (zombie make-up and spirit gum a few months ago, that awful oil of olay stuff I threw away about a week ago, and stress on a daily basis). At first I was able to keep it under control using a phillips mask nightly, but lately nothing has worked.
So I got desperate, caved in, and bought proactiv on Thursday night. After the first application my skin felt very soft. I experienced no side effects or adverse reactions. I've been using it twice a day for about 3 days now, and I've already noticed a difference. Spots on my face that usually look red (old scars from previous zits) are fading.

I feel so out of sorts today. Not sick, just numb, unmotivated, and not hungry at all. I've felt this way all day, and I made so many mistakes at work today. I even made a huge mistake in an alarm, and I could have been written up for it, but luckily my supervisors were cool about it.
There's been some deaths in my family recently (not my immediate family), so I feel bad for everyone involved.

Today was so much better than yesterday (the contrast principle hard at work...more on that later), even though work was extremely busy. My boss asked me if I wanted to leave 15 minutes early, so of course I said "Phuck yes!". I said it for emphasis, so it doesn't count. I'm also allowed to say "*sshole" if I say it in Kartman's voice (from South Park).
I work tomorrow too. But I have stuff to do as well, such as singing kareoke, and also doing my own thing (making jewelry, writing, finishing up some logos for kristine's kafe...).

Bad day | blog | complaining | pchan | pchan 33 | rotten day | sarah
My car broke down about a mile away from my house tonight. I knew it was about time for something to happen. But it doesn't owe me anything, as it is 13 years old. We've had some good times, me and that car, but I am ready to let it go. The air doesn't work. The horn works occasionally. It stalls often. It sounds like an airplane...I've been eyeing a yellow beetle for months now. I've already moved on in my mind. Anyway, I can afford the payments on a different car, I just need one of my parents to co-sign. That is the tough part.
