You may receive better job opportunities from time to time. Then it will be time to edit or change your resume. Yes, it is a tedious job. There are so many elements you need to change and add.

This is where your cover letter comes in handy. Covers letters are actually an excellent means to customize your message for each opportunity. You just have to change some wording of the first cover letter to suit the new opportunity. This is easier than rewriting the whole resume again.

I haven't spent much time here on BP recently. I've been down with the flu (not 'man flu', real flu I'll have you know..), and also I've been making a go of PayPerPost and some other pay to post sites using my personal blog .

I was supposed to do another gig today, my day off. And yet again, nobody is available to come with me. AGAIN I had to cancel. Why the hell is everything so far away from me?

My resume would be so much fuller if I didn't have to keep calling and saying "I'm sorry. I can't make it. Please keep my info on file for the future." And I'm sure at that point, the directors crumble up my resume and pictures, and throw me in the garbage.

I keep having to turn down gigs (for acting) because for now I am stuck working full time. I love horror movies. And I just had to turn down 3 (roles that are non-paying, however I would be compensated for some travel, receive credit and copy of film) roles because I can't risk losing my job by taking so much time off. Arg!

For once in my life, I have a job that I actually like! It is not my career however. I hope my boss isn't reading this. But as soon as I can afford it, I will cut back my hours so I can have more time to do what I want to do: write, act, go back to college...
