Sad Today

I was supposed to do another gig today, my day off. And yet again, nobody is available to come with me. AGAIN I had to cancel. Why the hell is everything so far away from me?

My resume would be so much fuller if I didn't have to keep calling and saying "I'm sorry. I can't make it. Please keep my info on file for the future." And I'm sure at that point, the directors crumble up my resume and pictures, and throw me in the garbage.

Missed opportunities...

I keep having to turn down gigs (for acting) because for now I am stuck working full time. I love horror movies. And I just had to turn down 3 (roles that are non-paying, however I would be compensated for some travel, receive credit and copy of film) roles because I can't risk losing my job by taking so much time off. Arg!

For once in my life, I have a job that I actually like! It is not my career however. I hope my boss isn't reading this. But as soon as I can afford it, I will cut back my hours so I can have more time to do what I want to do: write, act, go back to college...
