The weirdest thing is that, no matter how much a geek I am otherwise, I never really got into the Sci-Fi Channel until Ghost Hunters started a couple years back. Oh, I'd flip over and check it out if nothing else was on, or if it was a horror movie (they often show stuff like Fright Night, The Lost Boys, and so on), but as for their regular fare (Battlestar Galactica, Stargate, so on), it just never stroked my goat... er, whatever. Regardless, Sci-Fi was the Mystery Science Theater 3000 Channel and nothing more -- until they canceled that -- and then it became just "nothing more."
