Last I heard, post traumatic stress syndrome was ranked as a mental illness. Probably for the sake of insurance, but who really cares? What that means to me is that I'm now classified as mentally ill. I prefer crazy.

Anxiety headaches are, at least for me, a symptom or warning of being overloaded with information or emotions. The feeling of dizziness comes on without warning and is typically triggered by information coming from OUTSIDE my own head. Maybe it's the kids or the spouse, the job or some other stimulus that pushes the right buttons that removes my equilibrium and overloads the circuits.

It is exact that a good deal information or an excess of material can egg on anxiety attacks, but the same is exact if we have too little information or, worse still, mistaken information. It is to a good extent like feeling without help in a swarming area.
INFORMATION ANXIETY ATTACKS is shaped by the massive gap between what we discern and what we think we should discern. Individuals at the moment now discern what they dont discern, and that makes them anxious. The result is that the majority of us might well experience that we ought to discern more than we do. With the torrent of information coming our way, we single out tiny pieces of information. However commonly we are at a loss as to what to do with them. At the same instance, we may assume that one and all knows and understands to a great extent more than we do. That is when we become anxious or develop anxiety!

Adding a new little member to the family
Submitted by bubsy70 on March 12, 2007 - 8:11am. anti-static | DD | DDD | Mental IllnessHow exciting it is for a mum & dad when they find they have a new baby on the way especially when it has been planned. Even if the child had not been planned most couples feel it is a blessing especially if they already have one or two children.
I had six children five sons & one daughter and very proud of them I am. "Hard Work" yes but it never done me any harm.
A lot of young expectant mothers find themselves asking questions and wanting answers, one being, How can I avoid becoming too overweight? plus many more.

Blown about by winds far stronger than I,
Forever spinning and whirling, with nothing to anchor me
I spin away from those closest to me because I am empty inside.
Yearning, waiting. Forever
Waiting and yearning - to be filled, to be stuffed, by a
Needle, or a cock, or a scalpel.
I suck on fat joints the way I suck any
Man=s dick, it fills me up with something; that=s way
"Mental Retardation" is actually a medical term!
Submitted by filipinamami on May 17, 2006 - 1:35am. DD | DDD | Developmental Disabilities | Mental Illness | Mental RetardationI learned at my first day of DD Specialty Training is that our goal is to provide a "Better quality of life" for our residents. "People are people are people are people." and "Treat adults like adults." (Even if they don't act like adults!) Did you know that before Hitler used the gas chamber to kill off jews, he used it to kill the people in the mental illness asylums? He ordered 200,000 of them killed! Also the medical term in the 1800's for mental retardation was actually MORON and IMBICILE. Sadly even today we still live in a cruel world.
