I just finished formatting a book for a client that was on self help, and overcoming life's burdens. That made me start thinking about heros. Then, I found the story of this woman: Nancy Burpee, a world class paralympic swimmer.

Burpee was diagnosed with a rare genetic disease called Ehlers Danlos Syndrome, EDS, in 1995. Still, Ms. Burpee set world records in the 50 and 100 yard freestyle at the trials held in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
