breaking up | listening | men | relationships

I've written a previous post about the differences between men and women. Well one of the more interesting facts is that a mans brain does not register the sound of a female voice very well.

I tell my finace to look at while I speak one sentence, yes only one at a time, I wouldn't want to overload him. I have eye contant, I speak painly and clearly and in simple language. Not that he's stupid, it's just that he hardly ever understands the messages that I'm trying to convey to him-i think simple is best. So how is that he still doesn't understand?!? Maybe he understands he just chooses to disagree. This man was a once upon a time phscyology major, so as you might imagine, now he knows everything about it. If there's something bothering me-like the fact that I don't love him anymore- for instance, he can readily explain to me why I feel that way and why my feeling that way makes no sense.
