It’s finally happened ~ same sex marriages are now legal in California! I’d be seriously disgusted that it took this bloody long to become legal here, but I’ve decided to just be happy about it. And, I’m also pleased that I haven’t seen as much on the outrage front as one would expect. Everyone just seems happy. I’m not saying it’s not being apposed, but even at the fist marriage ceremony yesterday, the protesters remained quite.

Dog Was Right About Dopefiend Son's "Girlfriend"

The A&E Channel's top-rated TV star of the show, Dog the Bounty Hunter, was sincere and repentant for his use of a word which is in common usage throughout America, specifically by the very people who pretend to be so offended by it. But I've already covered the reverse-racism inherent in the word in my earlier post.
You should have seen this friggin' "girlfriend"...

But interrupt it, it already has.

Attorneys for Every Need

Many attorneys seek to specialize in one area or another, even though they often have a disclaimer telling you the states in which they practice do not allow for specialization and so they are not claiming to be specialists. Little tricks like that are what make attorneys some of the least trusted people in any profession.

Grace Under Pressure

The family of a woman who committed suicide after appearing on Nancy Grace's CNN talk show to discuss her missing son says she may have been influenced by Grace's harsh interrogation as to her whereabouts on the day her son disappeared. I'm inclined to agree.
Borat to Learn About America the Hard Way
Submitted by manodogs on November 13, 2006 - 11:34am. borat | comedy | entertainment | Legal | manodogs | politicsSacha Baron Cohen is an asshole. He is not funny, he was never funny, he couldn't be funny if he had funny writers, a funny director, and funny co-stars; he's just a run-of-the-mill asshole, on a par with Howard Stern, Steve-O, and that bald guy who drinks too much and plays golf with your dad.
He used to have a completely humorless show on HBO called Ali G in which he duped serious-minded and sometimes important people, in attempts to make them look stupid. Now he has a movie that does the same to ADHD-minded and completely unimportant people. And, of course, it has topped the box office for the last two weeks in a row.

Mesothelioma a Dread Disease and Legal Hot Potato
Submitted by Radreview on March 27, 2006 - 7:02pm. asbestos | disease | Legal | mesotheliomaMesothelioma is one of the deadliest diseases known to humanity at present, and one of the newest.
The problem was that it wasn't even diagnosed for years, and only after it became evident that asbestos insulation might have been the root cause.
The disease affects some 3,000 people annually, but the hype surrounding it seems to overwhelm some objective information about the affliction.
One clear fact emerging is that asbestos from old insulation in old buildings has been traced as a causative factor. But there is some controversy as to whether removal of the asbestos makes the environment even more dangerous than leaving the asbestos there, undisturbed. Indications are that old asbestos won't become powdered and dangerous until it gets kicked loose by a Hazmat-suited removal team.
Again, common sense, medical expertise and some legal help might be of some comfort in gaining compensation for suffering -- such as mesothelioma -- caused by asbestos insulation.

I am not finding what I need. Can anyone out there help me before I go to court? I was ticketed in my own driveway and something doesn’t seem right about this.
Two Sundays ago my husband and I drove up to our house after getting dinner and renting some movies. There was a cop car blocking our driveway. We parked on the side of the street and turned our vehicle off. I looked over and they appeared to be leaving, so my husband restarted the car and pulled into our driveway and parked. NOTE: We never turned the headlights back on!
