A dream is the essence of a goal; a goal is the enhancement of a life. Yet a dream is only a dream, and a goal only words until you take action on it. Although dreams have an uncanny ability to motivate, to inspire a person to achieve a goal, implementing the dream, actually realizing it, is how we create and enhance our world.

5 Steps to Building Trust

1) Start from a position of trust. You can approach trust in two ways: a) trust people upfront and withdraw it only if they prove untrustworthy, or b) withhold trust until you’re sure it’s warranted. Risk trying the former option.

Mama went home
Submitted by sparrow on January 6, 2007 - 7:55am. aamir | Cancer | eating right | healthy habits | hospital | instant cash | leadership | sore throat | surgeryMama got to go home from the hospital Thursday night. Boy was she ever ready. My daughter and I had gone to the grocery store before picking her up from the hospital. We got her a few things she needed to get her by for a few days. I talked to her yesterday morning ( Friday ) and she said her throat was really sore. I asked her if she had gargled with the vinegar and salt water and she said no. I asked her if she had taken her antibiotic and she said yes. So I figured that was a good thing. I can't imagine that she would have strep throat after being on antibiotic in the hospital and at home, but I suppose it is possible.

But I read that American universities have turned out no fewer than 30,000 per year since the 1960s; in 2003, the latest year for which official statistics are available, there were 46,024 newly-minted eggheads.
A True Puppet Regime
Submitted by Barely Awake In... on May 15, 2006 - 7:54am. bush | current events | Funny | global politics | leadership | puppets | random thoughts | schemeI've given this idea a considerable amount of thought (which is probably something I should give considerable thought), but I think that the world needs one more country with a puppet regime and I'd like to be the one to install it. No, I have no experience in this field, yet I have an innovative twist that I would introduce to shake up this tired endeavor.
Real puppets. Is that an oxymoron of some kind? Nevertheless...
Leadership- A highly misunderstood concept
Submitted by arvindkatoch1 on April 18, 2006 - 7:31am. leadershipLeadership is the basic quality for management. It is clear from the list of successful people in various fields. They are all strong in leadership skills. Not only in Management. The leaders are sought after in all walks of life. Leaders are the dynamic people, who are the first to take risk and show others the right path to follow. Mahatma Ghandi and Jawahar Lal Nehru clear examples of leadership. People are just mad to follow them. This is the real success of a leader. His actions are never questioned by anybody. If any difficulty arises, people run to him for help. Leader not only shows them the path, but also gives them example by doing it themselves.
