One of the reasons behind this is because the courts think that by doing this, they might discourcage underage sex. The two companies have introduced OneTouch with VRS Technology, software that integrates Visioneer's OneTouch scanner-control software with Kofax's VRS (Virtual ReScan) technology, the premier software for improving image quality on hard-to-capture documents.

Previously, users of Visioneer and Xerox DocuMate scanners could either scan with OneTouch or with VRS; OneTouch with VRS Technology integrates these two technologies so that VRS becomes a function in the OneTouch scanning process. This alliance will bring the high-end VRS technology to a range of Visioneer and Xerox DocuMate scanners, including consumer models costing as little as $200. (The lowest-priced scanner that we've reviewed that came with VRS was the $799 HP Scanjet 7800).

Well what can I say? Being the war buff that I am, I couldn't help but signing up when I stumbled across the game Kings of Chaos.
