It is amazing what transformation in a couple the two little words 'MY husband' and 'MY wife' can bring. There they were, getting on fantastically during the dating process, and suddenly they are married and everything changes, then the marriage itself is blamed for what happens next. But what really changes people are three things:

There's hope, there's expectation, wonder, nervousness...... the works. And we are going through this incredible journey together.
How Associated Content changed my life
Submitted by rosa florence on February 13, 2007 - 1:44pm. content | family | husband | Internet Reservations the Bomb in Air Travel | Kids | Let's Call Ourselves to Death With Cellphones | life | pants | writingI was stuck in a job that seemed as though it just wasn't going anywhere. I wanted a career and not just another place to work. I wanted to be a writer and I hoped to do this before I had to face that my lifelong dream was just that, a dream.
I studied hard and bought all the books and practically anything else that you could buy to help you become a better writer. I still can't believe that I spent that much money and am still rusty. I realized after I found Associated Content, that in order for you to become a better writer, you had to have much practice. I yearned to be accepted as a writer instead of just a homemaker. I wanted people to see my potential.

Submitted by IntricateGirl on November 10, 2006 - 7:47pm. blogging | husband | marriedThe last entry was written by my hubby. What can I say, I wanted a bath. lol Oh hell, let's get honest. I NEEDED a bath. Unfortunately I chose a bath bomb with purple glitter in it, and now my arms are sparkling. Geez. I know I'm the one that bought it, but I actually didn't know there was glitter in it.
Anyway, I keep trying to get him to post here, but apparently the only thing I need to do is look like hell and give him crusty, half-asleep puppy dog eyes, and then he'll blog for me.
Melancholy
Submitted by valley of a Diva on September 13, 2006 - 2:13pm. depressed | husband | marriage | melancholy | wifeToday I am feeling very melancholy, my mood is low. Me and my husband are having a lot of problems. It is not that he is wrong and I am right. It is more like, he would like his life to go a certain way. And I want mine to go a certain way. We have been together for almost 10 years. That is a long time when you are 30 years old. To share your adult life with someone and them realize you may not make it to the next year.
I'm proud of my husband.
Submitted by IntricateGirl on July 17, 2006 - 3:56pm. husband | marriage | wifeI had to meet my husband today while he spent his lunchbreak watching the kids. I am continually amazed at how much I love and respect him.
When I met him, he was a tall, sorta lanky goth that was in ROTC and an engineering major. He would have been good at it. In all truth, he would have been good at practically anything he wanted to do. I finally got him talked out of the ROTC thing (thank god!) and he switched majors on his own. He followed me into English, which was cute, but I knew he wasn't really into it. He was doing it because he thought I was a cute girl. So that didn't last too long.
Sneaking Expectations
Submitted by katherine on April 5, 2006 - 11:19pm. husband | partner | relationshipsFor some time now I have been listening to myself and my friends talk about our significant others using harsh criticisms and reaching brash conclusions about what it is that they really care about. These words carry the sting of resentment. Resentment that can only come from our unfulfilled expectations. My husband is always telling me not to have expectations; that they only get you into troule. Depending on where you sit, the person actually getting into trouble changes.
