Recovered Mind Therapy is a treatment that is ever growing in popularity. Some therapists believe that memories of sexual abuse during childhood can be repressed, and later recovered through special therapeutic techniques, like hypnotism, guided imagery, dream analysis etc. The problem is; Are these memories true and 100% accurate? This is very debatable. Did you know that HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS of patients have become convinced that as children they suffered from sexual abuse? There has been hundreds of reports of destroyed families due to false accusations. Many ex-patients are suing their former therapists for damages and winning massive settlements.
Does Anyone Remember Pitching Great Sidd Finch?
Submitted by Barely Awake In... on April 1, 2006 - 8:52am. April Fool's Day | Baseball | clever | George Plimpton | hoax | New York Mets | Sports IllustratedSidd Finch was the baseball pitcher who could throw a 168mph fastball and went to spring training with the New York Mets in the mid-'80s.
Finch had grown up in an English orphanage prior to his adoption by an archeologist who was later killed in a plane crash in the mountains of Nepal. Finch briefly attended Harvard before dropping out to study yogic mastery in a Tibetan monastary. These teachings allowed him to learn to throw a baseball more than 60mph faster than had ever been recorded (with pin-point accuracy no less), making him unhittable.

A good rule is - if it looks too good to be true, it probably is.
Watch that you enter a competition with a "reuptable" organisation - one that has a street address, as well as a post office box or similar. Make sure you can phone and talk with them if things go pearshaped.
