Life In My Space

The space that I take up in this world, the air I breathe, me me me me. A place to gripe, cry, complain, and just get things off my chest. So here goes.
I got a call today around noon. It was my mother. She lives about 10 miles from me. I had found out that she was sick from my sister-in-law Friday night. She said she was short of breath and was really couphing quite a bit. I and my sister-law wanted to take her to the hopsital to get her checked out. We had talked about the clinics all being closed and she would not be able to get in until Tuesday after the new year. We then called my sister and told her what we were going to do. She told us she would call mom and then call us back.

I have had problems with the Child Protective Services in Alaska. I havemade a couple of reports to them over the years regarding the welfare of mygrandson.
There is no sign of physical abuse ie bruising etc. But there are a numberother factors that have raise red flags to many to go into. Safe to say that Child Protective Service has not followed through despite me contacting Alaska's governor.
Not Another Teen-Age Driver!
Submitted by Jeanne Gibson on July 3, 2006 - 3:29pm. driver | grandchildren | Insurance coverage | KidsWhen my youngest child got her driver’s license and could finally transport herself around town, I breathed a deep sigh of relief.
Our oldest had learned to drive in a Volkswagon Van which presented a bit of a problem when it came to parallel parking. It was pretty unwieldy. The second child was easier, even though she really didn’t want to get a license, but we were convinced she would change her mind as she got older and made her learn how to drive, anyway.
