Well I've been living here since 2004..despite of the sorrow I've experienced here, seems like I can't bear to leave this country anymore. Weird huh? well..let put it this way, I love the place..the people I've met(all sorts of people..freaks, nerds, posers from different cultures) and my experiences. But lately, UAE gave my family a huge traumatizing impact in our lives. Well I don't think I should go on detail..but I also thanked that it happened as I'm hoping my Dad will change, and my Mom will change the way how she treats me. I hate them.

Submitted by bugsey on May 13, 2006 - 6:33am. good lessons in life | grandma said | think about itMy grandma used to say, "There is no use for the grass if the horse is dead." --- that means that there are things in life that do come too late. I recall she said this when she was about 82 years old and another aunt told her " We just bought the nicest mausoleum in one of the most expensive memorial parks in the city!". The family news didn't impress her. It made her smirk and say."There is no use for the grass if the horse is dead". Furthurmore, she asked me to swear that if she should die I MUST dare not visit her grave lest her spirit would be "bothered" by those who are still living without a roof while her rotting body is laid in a marble mausoleum.
