Ok, I should be embarrassed to even post this, but previous posts got me to thinking about it. I have never been a girl to receive a lot of gifts ~ even on Valentine's Day. Sure, I'd get the obligatory heart-shaped box of chocolates, but if you know me at all, you know that really sucks in my book. I also despise the heart shaped pendants no matter what types of jewels are thrown onto it. And, why? Because it shows no effort on the givers part. I really dread the big V Day. I'm literally single every time it comes around. It wouldn't be so bad, but sometimes I feel like society almost rubs it in a single person's face.
