George Carlin

The comedian George Carlin has died at the age of 71 of heart failure on Sunday. He has had a history of heart problems and was taken to St. John’s Medical Center in Santa Monica after complaining about having chest pains on Sunday afternoon. He died later that evening. He has done comedy shows for many years and has even done appearances in movies. He is famous for his “Seven Words You Can Never Say on TV” routine.

When I read of the death of George Carlin I felt as though all the joy had gone out of the world. All of a sudden I was lonely and so bereft. Not exactly what he would have wanted me to feel, I’m sure.
