The Gays Of Summer

It’s finally happened ~ same sex marriages are now legal in California! I’d be seriously disgusted that it took this bloody long to become legal here, but I’ve decided to just be happy about it. And, I’m also pleased that I haven’t seen as much on the outrage front as one would expect. Everyone just seems happy. I’m not saying it’s not being apposed, but even at the fist marriage ceremony yesterday, the protesters remained quite.

I am very happy with the way my blog/s are coming along. I'm LOVING how people comment! (Thank-you Pussy Willow)
It's very nice!
Right this moment i'm typing away and learning as i'm going along. I guess all writers do the same thing, right?

The 21 year old un-employed LESBIAN! *gasp!*

You see, I am a 21 year old, jobless lesbian living with her partner and her parents. I don't choose to be like this, in fact, I fucking hate it! The 21 year old bit is ok, except I don't drink and I quit smoking about 2 and a half years ago... so there's no chance of me dieing of lung cancer or kidney failure just yet... Being un-employed is definately not my choice, no sir-ee! I live in a town (not city, unfortunately...town!) where there is, last time I checked, a 7.3% rate of un-employment in this... 'town'. So I've got little chance of getting work here... and then there's being a lesbian.

Hate from the pulpit

Obama is having a hard time explaining his involvement in a church where the preacher has been notoriously preaching hate against the white community.

These comments are not new to the black community or the white community. Both races have been guilty of preaching such dogma and hate. The difference here is that Obama is running for the highest office in the world, the President of the United States of America. For Obama to claim that he had no knowledge of Reverend Wright’s speaking of such things is ridiculous. He attended this church for over 20 years. His children were taught by this preacher and he and his wife were married by this preacher. To claim now that he had “no knowledge” of this offensive language is obviously misleading.

There’s nothing better for a straight woman’s ego than to have a gay man pay her attention. If said gay man is “flaming” ~ even better! Sure, we love the attention of men who may end up our Mr. Right or Mr. Right-now. But, let’s face it. The attention of our queen friends is the best of both worlds. It’s quality time with a man who will also:

Besides, those Queer Eye for the Straight Guy guys paved the way for people to discover that we can all learn from each other and benefit from a point of view we may never have considered before. Sure, I don’t have a cool name like Jai, Carson, or Kyan, so I guess that makes me the nerdy little brother that nobody asked to the gay prom! I’m not bitter, oh no, not I...?

I stopped him, and asked him for directions like I didn't know where I was going, but I knew. He said he was going that way, and he would show me how to get there.
Gay Marriage

Gay? Have a loved one who is? In a committed relationship and want the world to know it? Then you’re probably as anger as I am that gay marriages are being outlawed. The Christian God I serve promotes LOVE. I just can’t see Him seeing ANY true expression of love as being a sin.
I am a legally ordained minister offering a way around the gay marriage ban for same-sex couples longing to show the world they are committed for life: certificate of love.

God, Gay Sex and the Gospel (2)

Because of this, God gave them over to shameful lusts. Even their women exchanged natural relations for unnatural ones. In the same way the men also abandoned natural relations with women and were inflamed with lust for one another. Men committed indecent acts with other men, and received in themselves the due penalty for their perversion.

Because of the controversial nature of my last post, and because of the current debate on the issue inside and outside of Christian circles, I am devoting this post to some anticipated questions arising from my former posting. If you have a question that is not addressed here, please feel free to submit a comment or a private message and I’ll do my best to respond promptly.

Who Wants to be a Superhero? - Review

Who Wants to be a Superhero? - Thursdays, 8 PM Central, Sci Fi Channel

Greetings, citizens!

The premiere was tonight and I have to say, I've been both looking forward to, and dreading, it. Let's face it, how the hell can anyone be a superhero? It just sounded like a stupid idea from jumpstreet. And even though I was determined to watch it (I mean, come on -- like that was ever even a question... I mean, it's me!), I was also prepared to wince, and wince often. But unlike your stereotypical, die-hard dork, I have a sense of humor and an open mind -- not unlike the Thrigokor from planet Xonak in episode 19, "Shenanigans of the Thrigokor."
