Low Cost Advertising and Making Money Online

Are there really any good chances out there to use the internet as a viable medium to promote and sell products? I believe the answer is yes. Even though it seems that there is always so much HYPE about a good deal and so on, when those who make that 'pitch' are the ones hoping that you will be daunted and overwhelmed enough to take them up on their offer.

ARE YOU HAVING A STAY-CATION OR ARE YOU TRAVELING THIS SUMMER?

So, are you going on a vacation this summer? I think the new thing families are doing this summer because of rising gasoline costs, are having a staycation as they are calling it.
A stay-cation is where you take your vacation, but your just staying at home lounging, or doing whatever at home. Gee, seems like that's nothing new to me, that's how I spend my vacations anyway.

The Dangers of Chlorine

Chlorine is a powerful and dangerous oxidant and chemical gas. It is often used as a disinfectant that can be very irritating to the skin, eyes, and respiratory tract. It is found that children who swim regularly in indoor chlorinated pools have an increased risk of asthma and chlorine can cause problems with lung function, erosion of dental enamel, and increased risks of bladder cancer.

Tips For Pumping Gas & Where To Buy It

I haven't checked out any of this for myself - I got it as a fwd. But, I thought, considering some of our conversations, it might be of interest to people here. And, if we can find out who is using imported oil products and avoid using them, it might make a difference!

Exxon Profits Hit $39,500,000,000 Amid Daunting Gas Prices

Now, just like every other red blooded American, to me filling up at the pump is about as fun as paying taxes or going to the dentist. In my frustration, it would be easy for me to read newspaper headlines such as the title of this blog and blame evil corprate America. But because I am pro-capitalism and believe in questioning what is presented to me by the media, I needed a better explaination. What I found after much research is actually quite contrary to what 99% of Americans believe: corporations don't make as much profits as we might think.

What is With These GAS PRICES???

So I went on a Job hunt a few days ago and not to my surprise the only jobs in my area are minimum wage and at best part time. I have lots of debt and am looking for a way to pay it off. While I was filling out the part of the application where you list how much you want an hour and how many hours you want I realized that minimum wage in my area is $6.85 and with my limited experience I could possibly get $7.00. At 40 hours a week I would only get $280 A week (before taxes) and since all the jobs are about 15-20 miles away from my house and I use a horrible car that guzzles gas I would probably use about $35-$40 a week in gas.(a whole tank lasts about three days) It just seems like I will never get up out of this debt I only be able to pay the minimum on each bill. I feel like i am going to be working to buy gas so I can work.

6 Tips For Saving Gas

by: Jackson Porter

In the past months we have seen the price of gasoline soar higher than ever before, and this can be hard on people who have a budget that is tight. Even though gas prices have come down a slight bit, you still will want to do everything you possibly can to save on the money you have to pay out for gas. There are a variety of ways that you can save gas, and save money.

Getting a job with Oil & Gas company in 2007

2006 is a great year for Oil & Gas companies simply because the oil price shot up to a record 70USD a barrel and it's still maintaining at above 50USD level in the foreseeable future.

What does that mean for jobseekers? It's an employees' market out there if you are in any way qualified to work for an o&g company!

Why o&g industry? While the industry has suffered from its up and down in the past decades but the fact is nothing is yet to be able to replace our dependency on oil.

No Pickles Before Bed!

Yesterday was a very long day for my daughter, we went "into town" which is 30 minutes away from our house. We went shopping and took her to the park. She only slept about 20 minutes in the car the whole day. When we got back home I put her down for a nap, but she never went to sleep. Needless to say she was a cranky baby!

At around 7 pm, we were trying anything to make her happy. She was overly tired, but her bedtime isn't until 8:30 and I knew if I put her upstairs she wouldn't go to sleep. What she really wanted was pickles!

Revelations at my sister's graduation, and why the war was completely necessary.

I went to my sister's graduation early this month. Because her class was a small one, they did the graduation a little differently than most I've been to. The school made no attempt to hide its religious affiliations, and the keynote speaker was a minister.

He told a story about how he was on a flight once, going to perform a relative's wedding. But after they landed, they had trouble even pulling up to the gate. See, that's when the whole eastern seaboard did not have electricity. Finally, they figured out how to get them off the plane, but they couldn't even open the doors to leave the airport. There were no lights, no way to retrieve their luggage, and all the other small things that are normally taken for granted were unavailable. He finally was able to leave, and another relative picked him up, but they discovered that they were low on gas. Guess what. Without electricity, there was no way to operate the pumps. They made it home by some miracle, but they were counting on the power being restored by the next morning. It wasn't. At that point, they gathered enough gas from neighbors who had it on hand to mow their lawns, and they were able to get to the wedding rehersal.

hOW WAS YOUR DAY?

Today was a weird day. I will not bitch to much today. I had to get gas and bought a lottery ticket and won $15, hey it paid for the gas. My boss was in a bad mood all day and was not in his right mind, so that bothered me all day. I got a good source to buy the truck. I have to go show it tomarrow, Amber didn't seem to do much but she tries.I know she is depressed about losing her job, and she didn't have a real good last few weeks. The only thing I don't understand is how that we can be upset at eachother at all, but we were a little. My mom should be back from Ohio, but no calls from her.A friend came over last night for about 5 seconds. I have decided that I wont be going over to his house nearly as much, just because I am finding more enjoyment finding new stuff to do. This friend is very close and I love him and his wife to death, but it is always the same drama cesspool when we hang out there. I am waiting to see if they will ever come over and hang out at my house, or a place that is on my agenda. NO MORE ONE WAY STREETS LIFESTYLE HERE. Keep watching the blog and send your comments. Also come see what my new friends are up to over at blog party.

Why wont the cost of Gas come down!! Will this new MPG-CAP product work?

Hey guys,

I hate the price of petrol and gas these days. The cost of fuel is only getting higher and higher, so I did some investigating.

I came across this website about a week ago, and bought some of these capsules from a company called Fuel Freedom International (FFI).... I thought what the heck, its worth a try, especially with the money back guarantee!

Has anyone used MPG-CAPS before? How successful were they in your car?

Ok, I'd Like to be Rich Now. (aka Somebody Else Please Pay My Bills)

Money may not be everything, but as I pulled out a gargantuan stack of bills, mixed in with the requisite pile of junk mail, from my mailbox today, I decided that I would like to be rich.

It is damned expensive to live nowadays.....and it seems like these bills just grow exponentially with every breath my family takes, unlike our anemic bank accounts. Moving to Portland has done wonders for my husband's work, but let's just say I left my income somewhere near the California border. And these bills, have mercy!
