On Monday, a judge sentenced Amy Winehouse’s husband to 27 months in jail for assault and obstruction of justice. Her husband, named Blake Fielder-Civil, admitted to beating up a pub manager, named James King, in a barroom fight in 2006 and offering him $400,000 to be quiet about it. The judge told Fielder-Civil that he had behaved in a gratuitous, cowardly, and disgraceful manner. Amy Winehouse wasn’t present in the courtroom.
