I'm not sure that I told you this or not, Angel Vet Center is the place that the DFW Dachshund Rescue uses for their dogs.
So today we went to see them. First I want to let you know that when Dr. Adoue came in and saw Prissi he said she was no bigger then a flea,,, she was sleeping. He started of saying that pups as small as her usually have some problems of various things. He said that he was going to go over her with a fine tooth comb and that he wanted to see if anything at all was showing. First thing is her poop which I took showed no presence of worms... He saw that you had given her de wormer and her first puppy shot. He then literally checked her from the top of her head to the tip of her tail. He listened to her lungs and her heart for a long time it seemed. He felt her bones from head to toe. He checked her eyes in the light and in the dark. He looked at her teeth and gums and throat. Her weight is 1 pound and 12 ounces. He talked to me and Cheryl in a way that we could understand, and I knew from the moment he walked in that I was going to love him. He is a very sharp looking white man, wears boots and starched clothes. And came in maybe to prepare me for things to possibly be wrong,,,he found nothing, NOTHING!! He told me about the Karo Syrup or honey and the reasons why to use if I need too, which is what you said. He asked me if I saw the momma and I said yes. He wanted to know about her siblings and I said yes we saw them and that she definitely was the runt of them all. That you said her daddy was really little and I told him the momma was of normal size. He really was asking me about how I feed her and when and what. I told him about every 2 to 4 hours and she was pooping and peeing and very much alert and just the perfect puppy.... Well needless to say he concurred.. After his very through exam of Priscilla, he was very, very, very pleased...

This is a group that I've just been turned on to by my youngest son. Interestingly enough, his musical journey started out to in listening to rap. He was of course caught up in the movment, which as everyone knows, is worldwide.

Quiet talks with the ol' man, and intellectual pursuits have given him a whole new perspective on what music means to him. He quickly moved through some of the major works of Sun Ra, Coltrane, Miles, and McCoy Tyner to name a few. What he discovered is a whole universe of talent that would otherwise have been hidden.
