Why I am so inclined to write about this and disclose this little moment in my life today is beyond me....

I was just at the supermarket and as I walked from the entrance back to my car I felt a warm splash on my hand. Since my son wasn't with me at the time I knew instantly that this couldn't be drool or an overly wet diaper incident.....so I looked up and saw the culprit soaring away in the sky. Yes, a bird, a seagull nontheless (must have been lost since I live in Portland, a good 2 hour drive from the coast) shat on my hand.

What is it about men and their utter lack of the ability to replace toilet paper rolls? I just don't understand this. My husband NEVER replaces the toilet paper roll, and then will call me from the opposite end of the house to ask me to please bring him a new roll as he is stuck in a compromising position....when right under the bathroom sink there is an entire package of the stuff. Have mercy!
