Here is another puzzling story I heard this morning. It was on "Good Morning America" and was about an American boy who went to live with a family in Egypt as an exchange student. He left as a robust, healthy boy, but four months later went home weighing only 98 pounds.

The upper part of the tomb was discovered in 2000 at Saqqara, 20 km (12 miles) south of Cairo, and the sarcophagus came to light in the burial pit during cleaning work, state news agency MENA said on Tuesday, quoting Egyptian government antiquities chief Zahi Hawass.

The head of Egypt’s supreme council for antiquities says it is time to make some changes. The idling engines of cars and busses waiting for tourists in the archaeological area of Saqqara must be turned off.
The official statement said, “The running of engines has caused the area to experience some shaking, which has in turn caused cracks in the pyramid of Djoser.
Think I'll make it home?
Submitted by foilpants on April 24, 2006 - 4:23pm. EgyptWell, it's only nine days until I leave on my vacation. I willspend a day in London before heading to Alexandria and Cairo, Egypt.
Today three bombs exploded simultaneously on the eastern shores. Al Qaida has been implicated.
Scary.
I don't know how things are going to be in nine days and I certainly don't know what will happen while I'm there.
My friend, Samir, whom I will be with over there, said his sister and brother-in-law were there, but are OK.
