Most people don't realize that they depend mostly on donations that are made to them by parents and teachers.

Child sponsorship

Does anyone here sponsor any children overseas?

Earlier this year, I participated in 2 different sponsorship programs. The first place was called Compassion. I selected them first because they teach Christianity to the children overseas. I ended up sponsoring a boy from India.

The second place that I sponsored through was the Christian Children's Fund. They were cheaper every month.

Due to financial reasons, I wasn't able to keep sponsoring for very long. I really enjoyed the experience though, and I loved corresponding back and forth with the kids.

Back by popular demand, here’s another one of my personal funny stories. This one ACTUALLY doesn’t involve drinking!

So a blogger had posted a cool blog asking other readers to share their hobbies with everybody. I was going to respond but I decided to share it this way instead. I hope you’ll enjoy it!

In “all my free time� (I say that jokingly, having an infant) I do charity work. I volunteer my time to my local crisis center. Yup, it’s an unpaid position. The thought of not getting paid seems to make most people cringe.
