Well, the last few weeks have been interesting, to say the least. I’ve worked only sporadically while searching for a preminent, full time job. I’ve done so much walking - literally pounding the pavement with my soon to be blow-out tennis shoes - that I’ve become a light skinned Black person. I’d find it really cool if it weren’t for the ridiculous tan line that reveals my true, nearly white skin tone. That and the nagging fear of skin cancer since I’m too daft to remember the sun block most of the time until I’m out and the bottle is back in the dingy flat laughing at me. But, last week I did work and it was actually kind of fun.

Bratz commercial. I smell a lawsuit.
Submitted by IntricateGirl on August 28, 2006 - 2:32pm. baby | bratz | commercials | dolls | lawsuitI just saw a commercial for some form of Bratz doll. While I know a lot of people hate these dolls, the offensive part about this was the commercial itself.
In the jingle, they were singing, "Doing the Bratz baby shake." Oh boy. Did they think that one through?? Do we really want to encourage baby shaking?? *groan*
I don't think this commercial is long for the airwaves.
