Do you use cloth diapers?? I have been using them for about 6 months now and wish that I would have done it since he was born. They are so much better for babies. He used to have a constant rash with disposable diapers and has not had one since I switched.

A diaper cake makes a fantastic centerpiece for any baby shower and is also a very nice gift that the new mom will find useful. I have also seen people whp make these for selling! You could make quite a bit of money . Here are the basics on how to make your own diaper cake:
1) First, you must decide how big you want the diaper cake. The size of the cake will determine how many diapers you need. Here are some general guidelines:
PAMPERS VS HUGGIES
Submitted by ms zola on June 19, 2006 - 3:40pm. baby | diapers | disposable diapers | huggies | pampersMy daughter just recently gave birth. And in the midst of things we bought every sort of baby product imaginable. Her request was for diapers so that she wouldn't have that expense for awhile as she was managing so many other expenses. So, her Dad and I bought an assortment of diapers.
Mostly we bought Pampers brand disposable diapers and the Huggies brand disposable diapers. I had plenty of coupons for both and both were name brand products. My daughter started off with the Pampers as we had purchased more of them in the newborn size. Then she used some of the Huggies. When it came time to make another disposable diaper purchase, she said to buy only the Pampers because they were more absorbent and didn't leak. The Huggies leaked badly. None of the Pampers brand leaked at all and therefore baby didn't wake up due to wet clothes and bedding. Not true for the Huggies brand. Baby woke up every time due to wet clothing.
The Latest in Potty Training Technology.....Kinda Scary.
Submitted by ModelMom on June 5, 2006 - 8:02pm. diapers | parenting | potty training | pull-ups | toddlersI am drawing a blank right now as to which company, Huggies or Pampers, has come out with the latest in training pant/pull-ups technology for toddlers. These training pants contain a substance in the crotch lining that turns cold when wet, so that when your child pees their genitals get cold therefore making them uncomfortable and more "potty trainable".
Does this scare anyone else but me? I am in the process of potty training my soon to be 2 year old, but we are going the old fashioned route. He wears little cotton briefs all day at home (diapers for naps and leaving the house, thank you very much!) and I ask him ad nauseum if he needs to poop or pee in the potty. And I have to say, that so far this has been pretty good for us, although today he kept telling me he had to pee AFTER the fact.
BE A LITTLE THOUGHTFUL WILL YA?
Submitted by ms zola on March 27, 2006 - 4:39pm. cigarettes | diapers | parking lots | shopping basketsIt takes only a few minutes to be a little thoughtful. Today, I walked out to my car and a shopping basket was pushed into it. I am more than certain it wasn’t on purpose, but still, how many seconds does it take to put the cart in a secure area where it won’t scratch or damage someone’s car? There are in fact, many thoughtless acts perpetuated by people who are only thinking of themselves.
