This place doesn't let you see stars
Moves you to another direction
where there's heat but not light.
You can go to whatever it is that appears to be glowing
but its only good if you can forget warmth.

But last night was different. Last night was Game 7 of the Stanley Cup finals. In realty, you have to watch the game that decides it all in any sport, especially a game 7. Due to living on the west coast, my lengthy commute from work, and an errand or two, when I walked in the house the second period was coming to a close. The Carolina Hurricanes were leading 2 goals to none.
Cats Vs Dogs
Submitted by honey2506 on June 5, 2006 - 5:53pm. cats | decisions | dogs | petsYou have to make lots of decisions when choosing a cat or a dog. Are you a cat person? Are you a dog person? Are you both?
The best way to decide is how big is your living space? Have you got a garden? Are you an active person? Have you got lots of spare time?
If you can answer yes to all of these questions then maybe a dog i the right choice for you. If you have a smaller property with not much of a garden and you are not a very active person maybe it is not right for you to have a dog and maybe a cat is better.

Guy: “This is such and such from such and such
Me: “Hey, how are you doing?
Guy: “You still want a job?
Me: “Sure.
Guy: “I’ll see you on Monday morning.
That is how my phone conversation went yesterday. I do not remember what job this is, interviewing for it, how much it pays, benefits, etc. But who am I to turn it down. I actually had a nice interview with a company I think might want to hire me on Wednesday. I would take that job over this one if offered…I think. And I’m supposed to go out of town next weekend. I gotta get this situation figured out. At least I got a job now (smile).

Since I like to argue for the sake of mental exercise, I once took a position in favor of sweat shops. My reasoning for doing so was that since I wear so much Nike footwear and apparel, who am I to disagree.
If you had not heard, the Houston Texans selected Mario Williams, not Reggie Bush with the number one overall pick in last weekend's NFL draft. While everyone else gawks at this decision, I will try to defend it.
Time to Man up.

I guess it’s easier for me to talk to people I don’t know. To be honest, it’s all a little embarrassing because deep down I think there is an element of weakness involved when you complain.
Anyways, today I had an interview and it went okay, but the job does not start until June. I would love to wait because it is a really nice opportunity, but I am just not afforded that luxury at the present time. At the same time, I may not even be one of the candidates the compnay is considering. It' s a three step interview process so who knows. None of this is that important to what I have to say. What is important to me is that as I rode the bus in my favorite gold tie and square toed Steve Maddens, partially because I did not drive out to Cali where I now reside and thus do not have a car and partially because my license was revoked due to my own misguidedness let’s call it (spell checker says misguidedness is not a word), I realized it was time to man up.
Life is what you make it.
Submitted by James Champion on January 22, 2006 - 10:37pm. decisions | james champion | life | reality | schoolI've heard life is what you make it. I am 24 years old and fairly educated. I majored in Sport Management at one of the top three schools that offer this particular degree. I also double minored in Math and Legal Studies. I never had a passion for anything except sports so I decided I would become a sports agent. However, this is a profession that is based more on who you know and not what you know.
