I often wonder what people's writing lives are like. Sometimes it is easy to see from the posts they write, but with others it is not so clear. My own writing life has ups and downs, sometimes I am happy and working efficiently and effectively and at other times I can't seem to write much at all. This applies to all areas of my writing life including blogging and freelancing.

And nobody reads me!
What a coincedence of facts!
Yes, nobody reads me. At least so it seems to me. And I do not read anybody either. So, it must be case of similarity. Similarity of dislikings of either side. Nobody reads me and I donot read anybody because of one's dislikings to the other.

My Most Prized Possession
As we drove up to the information center on that cold September afternoon I got a disgusting sick feeling in the pit of my stomach. I was not sure if I was ready to be on my own and go to college. “Are you okay, honey?” My mom asked.

Creative Writing | freelance writing | Help Me WriterSetting aside the insider secrets, like knowing what keyword phrases to use in your tags, and knowing how to use meta tag keywords to improve your page views, blogging is a great tool for writers.
Writers need to write everyday to improve their voice and style. They need to improve their ability to communicate without redundant phrases and words, with brevity, and with humor.
Blogging can give writers all of this.

After walking Os, a bit of housework and writing, then off to Norwich to go for a one-to-one interview for a place on a women's get into business course. This is free and I've been accepted.
Straight after this it was onto the UEA for my creative writing diploma lecture. It was the start of term 3 and onto scriptwriting. We had a interesting lecturer who had written for TV and radio extensively. She was telling us that most movies are 120 minutes long which roughly corresponds to the number of pages in the book they are scripted from.
Is Proper Grammar More Important Than Good Fiction?
Submitted by gracepub on March 13, 2006 - 5:56pm. Creative Writing | How to Write FictionOne question has been floating around our office for a week. Is good grammar more important than a great story? Of course, the perfectionist will claim that you can have both, but in reality, this is not true.
Let's even avoid the fact that the Chicago style of grammar used by fiction writer contradicts the AP style of grammar used by journalists. Oh and of course, we have to forget the difference between literary and mass market fiction.
