We've been told sugar is bad for our body and creates havoc with our calorie count. Bring your body and mind back into a balanced relationship with sugar to maintain healthy weight, reduce your risk of illness, boost your energy and even lift your mood. You can have plenty of sweet fruits, whole grains, and milk all containing natural sugar. Cutting back on the added sugar in your diet (free sugar, cakes et al) will give you the physiological balance you need for long-term health. Also keep a sharp lookout for hidden sugar in your diet like in breakfast cereals, biscuits, fruits juice concentrate and maple syrup. Just allow naturally sweet flavours to come alive.

I used to buy a small block of regular butter, which would lay in the freezer for months, occasionally being scraped for egg frying purposes. Even if I put it in the fridge, it would remain rock hard and impossible to spread on a piece of bread. I was beginning to feel desperate...
Debate on Baba Ramdev
Submitted by Healthplus on December 3, 2006 - 7:56am. breakfastSwami Ram dev has become a big imagine in India due to his great work done in the field of ayurveda. Today many people are feeling relief by taking his medicines and performing various yoga exercises.
However all this has created a debate on the use of ayurvedic medicines on the chronic patients. Many people still see Swami Ram dev suspicion and create negative comments about him.
One major advantage which people are getting from all this is that we have started rediscovering our old wisdoms. Ayurveda and Yoga is not a new concept to India, however the problem is that we have mostly forget about these helpful techniques.

My intention here is not to debate but rather to celebrate the wonderous goodness that is Pop-Tarts. I believe John Lennon said it best - "I don't believe in Beatles, I just believe in me, Pop-Tarts - sweet delicious Pop-Tarts - and me, that's reality"
