Cent Sports is an interesting web site that allows you to bet on sporting events for free with the ability to win real money. The web site is a lot like Moola, which is able to pay members because of advertising money. It is simple to use. All you have to do is sign up and they will give you 10 cents. You can place several bets on several different sports. Right now, you can bet on college basketball, pro basketball, pro football, and pro hockey. Other major sports will be added during their seasons. The lines and odds on all the games come straight from Vegas. They offer several different ways to bet including over/under, with a spread, parlays, or moneyline. For those who aren't familiar with the sports betting terms, over/under allows you to bet on how many points will be sccored between both teams, a "spread" evens the odds of the two teams by making the winning team win by a certain amount of points, parlays allow you to increase payout by betting on several games at one time but all games in the parlay must be correct to get the payout, and moneyline allows you to bet on who will win with different odds for the underdog/favorite. These are fairly easy to learn and I will help you understand them better if you need. What do you have to lose anyway? The website is free. You can never fall below 10 cents, because if you do they give you 10 more cents for free.

Submitted by straightshooter on January 30, 2007 - 7:59am. basketball | betting | entertainment | Fast World Gets Faster | freelance | Gambling | SportsI've come to the conclusion that the sports "pollsters" are so bias that we will never get an honest opinion as to the rankings of the different teams we follow. If you live on the east coast you can bet on the east coast pollers leaning your way - same on the west coast. Theres times i wonder if they think that we're that blind or just plain stupid. Happy trails, straightshooter.

The government had debated legalizing prostitution and marijuana for years but they are completely and totally against sports betting, unless you live in Las Vegas, Delaware, Montana or Oregon!
I found it very interesting – did you know that in 1992 Congress banned states from legalizing sports gambling, while allowing it to continue where already legal. BUT the SAME YEAR some states were doing “experimental tests for the legalization of marijuana.

Submitted by James Champion on February 28, 2006 - 8:52am. basketball | betting | Gambling | mardi gras | money | NBA | NCAA | SportsToday is the last day of Mardi Gras. I expect to go out and enjoy myself tonight. I want all the ladies to be safe and do not show your boobs, unless of course someone offers you plastic beads in return. I digress. For the past 2 or 3 months I have been in a real financial bind. I think I began giving betting advice everyday so that I could live vicariously through all of you. Since I don’t know a bookie I can only bet online. But since my account was overdrawn, by a lot, I couldn’t not do that either. I was in law school. Long story short, things did not work out. The problem is that, like most first year students I borrowed enough money to live without having to work. At the time it became apparent that I was not going back for the second semester I had been flat broke for a minute (not because of gambling) and I was eagerly anticipating that money. Then came that oh so sweet W-2 form. By weeks end I will ready for action. It has been a good experience (obviously not the being poor as hell part). Prior to this I was only familiar with betting on football. Sometimes my record isn’t the greatest, like last night for instance, but the important thing for me is that I won my bonus and can’t lose picks. I always want to win those because I only pick one college game per night and if there are six or so games played in NBA, there should be at least one that I can pinpoint as a virtual lock. There are not always glaring picks, but for the sake of the blog I have to make a choice. Anyway, here’s the deal for tonight:
