To start the discussion on oily skin care, it’s imperative to first understand the cause behind oily skin. Put simply, oily skin is a result of excessive production of sebum (an oily substance that is naturally produced by skin). As is known to everyone, excess of everything is bad; so excessive sebum is bad too. It leads to clogging of skin pores, resulting in accumulation of dead cells and hence formation of pimples/acne. Moreover, oily skin spoils your looks too. So, ‘oily skin care’ is as important as the ‘skin care’ for other types of skin.

Okay, okay, I am finally going to write a post worthy of a model. Ha! But seriously, I have found the best new and cheap shampoo & conditioner on the market. And I am too excited about it not to let you all know what it is....

Lord knows my hair needs serious TLC since I make my living getting it teased, sprayed, moussed, gelled, backcombed, crimped, curled, flatironed, and then some. And while I adore expensive brands like Kerastase by L'Oreal, I have a hard time justifying spending so much on such a small bottle of product.

This morning I arrived at work without 2 things. Diet Coke and deodorant.

The first one was easy I had a stash of quarters in my desk, so I could easily go back to our break room and buy one. But the second one was trickier.

Deodorant isn't exactly something you can ask to borrow from someone. I mean, especially if you dont know them that well. I remember I once borrowed deodorant from my own sister and she made me apply it with a paper towel so that I wouldnt actually touch her deodorant...

I had a booking yesterday for a yoga wear company and got the best tip from the make-up artist! I had a few nicks around my ankles from shaving which she had to cover up with concealer and she told me ann absolutely incredible way to avoid nicking and cutting yourself around the ankles when you shave your legs....
