Radio Frequency Roulette

alternative music | Atlanta | music | pop music | radio

Here in Atlanta a major change in radio stations is about to happen. 99X, an alternative rock station, is about to go away, becoming an internet only station, and Q100, the number 2 top-40 station and leading FM station, is taking over the frequency, 99.7. The reasons listed are declining listeners for 99X and a need for Q100 to better compete with Star 94, the current number 1 top-40 station. A brief history of "the gentle way", judo.

Atlanta | negotiations | re-location

Professor Jiguro Kano graduated from the Imperial University of Tokyo, Japan, in 1881 and wanted to introduce a form of physical exercise to his students. Through the several ju-jitsu schools he attended, he adopted the best principles of the art and developed judo. Judo, literally translated means the “gentle way”. Judo today is one of the most wide-spread martial arts and is a sport event in the olympic as well. However, the founder Jiguro Kano, envisaged judo as the development of a lifetime art, as opposed to a sport. He felt strongly that it was an art with the purpose of training one’s mind and body rather than to be a public competition.

Need To Buy Or Sell A Condo In Atlanta?

Atlanta | condo | re-location

I really like the West Coast myself, but if Atlanta is where your heart lies, you might want to check out a recent press release from Atlanta Condos which provides an online search list to help buyers find condos in the Atlanta area.

The list is especially useful because it only includes condominiums and the prospective customer does not have to waste time plowing through all other kinds of available housing to find what he or she is looking for.
