I am getting a bit tired of this election season. I have heard all of the wrangling and have listened to Obama say "ummm" and "uhhhhh" enough that I have realized he and Bush really do have something in common.

AFFIRMATIVE ACTION, n. comp. Discrimination on behalf of individuals and groups of whom the Government approves. Typically and confusingly paired with Equal Opportunity, which denotes absence of all discrimination. The job will still go to the Senator's cousin, but it will take longer and cost more to achieve this.
Is AFFIRMATIVE ACTION a Joke?

(I wrote this this morning. When I logged on tonight and saw D Weezy's Blog, I figured this is probably a perfect time to post.)
What is AFFIRMATIVE ACTION supposed to do?
Affirmative action generally means giving preferential treatment to minorities in admission to universities or employment in government & businesses. The policies were originally developed to correct decades of discrimination and to give disadvantaged minorities a boost. The diversity of our current society (as opposed to that of 50 years ago) seems to indicate the programs have been a success. But now, many think the policies are no longer needed and that they lead to more problems than they solve.
The Truth About Affirmative Action!

Below is an defintion/example of how the true concept of Affirmative Action has been changed to exclude those of us with fair skin. What I've discovered, even here in blog-land; is that now that I've revealed my true identity--I have far more responses per blog. I'm naturally assumed to know more. Its raised my stock value considerably in revealing my true culture.
