Several of my writer friends have expressed regret that they didn’t stay in school long enough to get a degree when they were younger, or that they wish they had taken more courses that would help them in their chosen profession of writing when they had the opportunity.

Most feel that responsibilities of marriage, children, and outside jobs are holding them back from returning to school to finish what they should have finished years ago.
