It seems to me that we have two sets of laws in this country. The laws that apply to protect man and those that exist to guide him along a preselected path of living chosen by our politicians-usually to in some way match their own. It is the latter I wish to talk about here. I think we need to examine some of our morality laws and ask ourselves what the intention is of those that committ these crimes, and most importantly of all to contrast their intentions with our own. Because my friends I see similar intentions all across the board! The sex drive is undeniable-yet we punish those who would pay to have it quelled? We all pay for it somehow. What drives a man to consume alcohol? Myriad things-same as what drives man to consume currently illicit substances.

What you need to be "a super hero "in marriage? Umm...let me think, a cape? A red underwear? A tight ,black suit? All are needed! Come on..we live in in a very cruel,mean, reality world. Hard to have fun nowadays,with all the news in the paper, cost of living arising, companies are downsizing etc. So why not, once in a while, we go to a fantasy world,we play a super hero character . Leave all your worries outside the doors. Don't worry about who is the bad guy & good one. In fantasy world, anybody can be a super hero because everybody is wrong and makes mistakes.

Recently while stumbling around the internet I came across the personal page of a self proclaimed jihadist going by the name Juba. Juba, also known as "The Baghdad Sniper" was the name given to an insurgent sniper operating in Baghdad. On his personal page there are pictures of the 9-11 attacks as well as a memorial video of the sniper in action.

Does anyone else remember Pres. Bush arriving in full flight gear and standing on the deck of the USS Abraham Lincoln and announcing the war in Iraq had been won?

Then what is senator John McCain talking about when he says we won't leave Iraq until the war is won? We already won it. The Iraqi people voted and Saddam Hussein is dead...along with his notorious sons. We occupy their capitol, so how can we win a war that has already been won?

Well, ok, there is no way that it could ever happen - not even in our world of germ-warfare, diseases and super-flu’s - the dead could never rise up to attack and eat the flesh of the living. But, what I love about zombie movies and any movie that deals with the end of the world is the question at hand. Those scenarios, regardless of how far fetched they are, show the true test of ones character.

Conditions in Iraq keep going from bad to worse. As the number of American casualties grow, one can only wonder when Bush will admit he was wrong and allow Congress to bring our troops home.

The responsibility of the war seems to fall on the same people over and over. Their deployments are being lengthened because there are not enough new troops to fill in the numbers.

I am known to be vehemently anti this war, but that does not make me anti american, just anti needless death and destruction.

That being said, I would like to thank the young men and women that are out there on the frontlines fighting this hopeless cause. They are dying in droves over in Iraq as well as Afghanistan, and I do believe they feel they are defending my freedoms. So thank you!
