Significant Parting?
Submitted by gellybaby on March 16, 2007 - 1:07pm. california | politics | television | triviaThe BBC was broadcasting a news item today which I thought might be a joke for Comic Relief.I was wrong, it was a serious item. It announced that Conservative party spokesmen were moving to deny rumours that David Cameron's changing the side on which he parts his hair had political significance.
Has everyone become so trivial and stupid that anyone thought there was a political reason for something that is merely a personal choice or a whim.

A Little Trivia About Flowers
Submitted by theclassy1 on July 2, 2006 - 7:06am. flowers | triviaHere is a little trivia about a few summer flowers. I find this interesting:
1. Cala lillies are funnel-shaped, elegant flowers. Actually, they really aren't flowers at all. They are large horn-shaped extensions of the stem, called a spathe, which ranges from 6" to 9" in length.
2. Dendrobium orchids are delicate, six-petaled flowers. They are tropical flowers of summer.
3. Daisies represent hope, purity, and innocence.
Interestingly Interesting. Very Interesting.
