Friday started out as an ordinary day for a family in Springfield, Oregon. By 8 o’clock that evening, the day had turned tragic.

Several family members had come together to work on a remodeling project in the backyard and everyone was having a great time when the homeowner decided to mow the lawn with his new John Deere Tractor.

Not realizing that his 3-year old daughter was following along behind him as he mowed, he reached the fence, stopped, and backed up, running over his little girl.
