Recently, we had a chance to take our daughter to a "red carpet movie premier." No, nothing with Colin Ferrell, darnit. Strawberry Shortcake. There is going to be a premier of the Strawberry Shortcake movie nearby (god only knows why, cause I'm fairly certain this crap will go straight to video). You can watch the movie and meet some of the people who did the voice work. Plus, because that isn't nearly special enough, you can meet Strawberry Shortcake herself!!!! yay I have always loved meeting 8 foot tall foam "gingers". Although I gotta say, she has gotten quite a makeover since I was a little girl. She's got a great new kicky hairdo, and she's dumped that frumpy hat.

A sentimental drama shows much PATHOS and arouses PITY. This is also called a Weeping drama or a weeping sentimental drama or a tearful drama. A Didactic drama tries to raise some moral issues and tries to preach. A Didactic Sentimental Drama has a combination of both i.e. preaching and pity. In the sentimental drama, the hero or heroine has to suffer for sometime, before the pity enters. In a didactic drama, there is no place for crude or ruffian characters on the stage.
