Has anyone else noticed their bloggerparty tags are acting weird? On the entry that I posted just now I added the following tags:

paid to read email, make money online, earn at home, pocket money, cash, earning

Yet above the entry, the tags showing up are

An American Haunting | Cash | cornea | earning | eye injury | make money online

And when I tried to fix it just now by re-editing the tags, I got

The internet has become a super highway for all to use, the question is how many internet users actually know what they are doing. There is a vast amount of knowledge to be learned on the world inside our computers, the possibilities are endless.

The entrepreneur that is interested in opening an online business is in for a rude awakening, most will fall for all the free offers that cost them an arm and a leg before they realize it. The opportunities are endless for scammers and just about any type of advertising is allowed.

It started with "NBA Basketball". Since then it's been "blogosphere" and "andre my first dog". Actually, my first dog's name was Sam, and though I was too young to remember Sam it's all good. It's also possible that "movie ideas" is not mine, but I can't remember.

These are all tags that are or were on my blog that I didn't put there. I'm not the only one that it's happened to. I know that O'Ceallaigh had one that had "today pic with no makeup" (just guessing, but I don't think he wears makeup) and "spanking" (while the post was deservedly harsh, I wouldn't call it a spanking). There were also the words "Water bill" and "neighborly" on a post about a car. As in, "The $23,000 pricetag for this car will make me so broke that I can't pay my WATER BILL, and if the guy down the street felt NEIGHBORLY, he would buy it for me!" :D

What are tags?

Tags are a way of categorizing. They're used for blogs, pictures, social bookmarking, articles, and more. Instead of the traditional categories, tags allow you to create categories "on the fly". They're then grouped together in a tag cloud, with the most popular tags in a larger font.

Tags give you a lot of freedom and they're easy to use. Choosing the right tags can sometimes be a little more difficult. If somebody is looking for specific information on, say, blogging tips, they might look under the tag, "blog". But you tagged your blog, "blogging tips" and your blog won't be found.
