Adams, Tennessee is a very small, blink and you miss it town. I live about 45 minutes from it. I actually went there about three years ago because I was curious. Curious about the Bell Witch.

As the story goes, in the 1800's John Bell and his family moved to Robertson County, Tennessee from North Carolina. They quickly settled in. In 1817, he saw a strange animal in his cornfield. He shot it several times, and it disappeared. That night the family started hearing beating noises on the outside of their home. It continued every night until Betsy, the youngest daughter, started having physical experiences from the haunting. It pulled her hair and slapped her around. It went on for about a year, until he finally decided to tell his neighbor. James Johnston and his wife spent the night in the Bell's home, and they actually saw everything that was going on.

I started watching Ghost Hunters a few years ago when it first came out. My son loved it, and for awhile there we were always tuned in whenever it came on. After awhile, he kind of lost interest. It seems to me like they have a lot of season finales. More than usual. Anyhow, every now and then we will watch it but it seems like I have kind of lost interest as well.

Did anyone tune in to Sci Fi tonight for Ghost Hunters?

I really enjoyed the way they set up this episode. I missed the first time they visited this hotel. So it was cool to watch the closet door open and than close. It was also interesting to see that the glass was broke. It makes you wonder exactly how it happened.

This is a really good show. I like watching the episodes where they actually find something going on. It's kind of boring when they investigate and nothing happens.

I'm very interested in this subject.

You see, I'm a firm believer in the 'there's more to it than just this' theory. Life on earth is a chance to learn, like a big school. Our body is just the machine that carries our soul around with us.

Even though I am completely and utterly terrified by all things supernatural (yes, I know I'm chicken!) I still love hearing people's personal accounts of ghostly sightings, and things that go bump in the night, alien abductions and so on.....

So, I am opening this up for all of you to tell me what the scariest, paranormal thing that has ever happened to you is. There may or may not be such things as ghosts, aliens, etc.....but I get wicked delight from hearing this stuff anyways.

Protestants separated from Catholics over, among other things, whether a priest could literally turn the eucharist wine into blood. Once Protestants decided that priests could not do this, the substitution of other fluids for wine became permissible, even inevitable. Kool-Aid, for instance. The Protestant decision is fallacious. The ability of priests to turn spirits into blood has been an established fact for millenia.

I am currently in the US Air Force and, despite being a computer programmer, find myself augmenting my base's Security Forces. Well, one night I was required to tend to the military working dogs at the SF kennel. Basically all this entails is filling their water pails and spraying their poop into a channel in the middle of the room.
