The singer Mary J. Blige has started a foundation to help women develop careers and increase self-confidence. Its charity will fund scholarships, grants, and programs to help women gain confidence and skills to succeed in their careers. The foundation will focus on the area of Yonkers, New York, first, the place where Blige grew up. It is expected to expand to the rest of New York and then the rest of America.

As I've written about before, I have a weakness for haircolor. Why? I don't know exactly. I do know there is something in me that I can't seem to express without "becoming a different person". There ya go. Hair dye is method acting for the soul.

So what color am I now? What was I? Who am I with this hair color?

It's black. Temporary, so it will probably fade badly, but I could stand going permanent. Not with black, and not just because it is so hard to get lighter. I can't stand it because it is a hard color to live with on a daily basis.

Some time I consider what my real self is. Is it the same what a supposed it to be or it is distorted in recent years? I have some dreams in my childhood. I want my self to be like that. But as I grown to an adult man, I saw my dreams shattered. I am becoming something, which I don’t want to become. My actions have not remained in control of me; rather they are becoming reactions to others behaviors.
